The Qantas London Lounge at Heathrow Terminal 3 is one of lounges available to oneworld premium passengers and eligible frequent flyers at London Heathrow Terminal 3. With its stylish Australian-inspired design, premium bar service and convenient location alongside the other oneworld lounges, it promises a relaxing start to your journey. In this review, I’ll take a closer look at the lounge’s facilities, food, drinks and overall experience, as well as how it compares with other excellent lounge options in Terminal 3.
Location
The Qantas London Lounge is located in Terminal 3 at London Heathrow Airport, alongside the other oneworld lounges. This makes it easy to compare different lounge options before your flight, especially if you have oneworld Sapphire or Emerald status that grants access to multiple lounges in the terminal.

Its central location within the Terminal 3 lounge area means you can easily visit after clearing security without having to walk across the terminal.
Design and Atmosphere
One of the strongest aspects of the Qantas London Lounge is its design. The lounge looks stunning, with extensive use of wooden surfaces that create a warm and premium atmosphere. Instead of relying on bright colors or flashy décor, the space feels elegant and relaxed, making it an enjoyable place to spend time before a flight.

The lounge is spread across two levels. The lower floor features the dining area and one of the bars, while the upper floor houses the self-service buffet together with additional seating and a second bar. The split-level layout helps distribute guests throughout the lounge and gives it a more spacious feel than many competing lounges in Terminal 3.

Food
The buffet offers a decent selection of hot meals, although it is not among the best airport lounge dining experiences in Heathrow. During my visit, the hot options included pork, rice, a vegetarian dish and a pasta dish, providing enough variety for most travelers to find something to eat.

One drawback is that none of the dishes were labeled. Without descriptions or ingredient information, it is difficult to know exactly what each dish contains. This can be inconvenient for anyone with dietary restrictions, allergies or simply wanting to know what they are choosing.

The lounge also has a dedicated à la carte dining area on the lower level. Unfortunately, it was closed during my visit, so I was only able to experience the buffet. If the dining room is open during your visit, it might provide a more premium food experience than the buffet alone.

Drinks
The drinks selection is one of the highlights of the Qantas London Lounge. There are two full-service bars, one on each floor, so getting a drink is convenient regardless of where you are sitting.

Both bars are staffed by professional bartenders who prepare cocktails and other beverages to order. The selection of wines, spirits, beers and soft drinks is very good and easily compares with some of the better airline lounges in Heathrow Terminal 3.

Overall Verdict
The Qantas London Lounge is a good oneworld business-class lounges at London Heathrow Terminal 3. Its beautiful interior, comfortable atmosphere and excellent bar service make it a pleasant place to wait for your flight, even if the buffet is fairly average and the lack of food labels is disappointing.
If you have oneworld Emerald status, I would recommend visiting the Cathay Pacific First Class Lounge before choosing the Qantas Lounge, as it offers a more premium overall experience. If you do not have access to first class lounges, the decision is closer. Personally, I would still lean slightly toward the Cathay Pacific Business Lounge, but I would choose the Qantas Lounge over the British Airways lounges in Terminal 3.
