Qantas First Class Lounge in Auckland is a Cozy Little Lounge

The airport in Auckland, New Zealand is quite small and I was surprised that they even had a Qantas First Class lounge for oneworld Emerald customers. The airport does not open the terminal early, so if you have an early morning flight, don’t bother going there 2 hours before your flight. The check-in counters will be open, but the airside will open later. I was a bit nervous about the lounge access initially – I was flying on a Jeststar operated flight that was sold to me with a Qantas code and I was not sure if my Finnair Plus status was enough to get me to the lounge. It sure was. 😁

How is British Airways Economy Class on Airbus A380

It is no secret that Airbus A380 is the king of the skies. There is no other passenger airplane quite as massive as the European-built giant. Needless to say, I was quite excited about this opportunity given that I have been dying to fly on one of these planes ever since I was a kid. In this post, I will tell all about my experience flying in British Airways intercontinental economy class. Let’s get started!

DCA E gates American Airlines Admirals Club lounge

If you are flying from Ronald Reagan Airport in Washington DC and happen to be on a oneworld route, your best option for a lounge is the American Airlines Admirals Club Lounge (Concourse E). There are other lounges as well, but they aren’t as nice; take a look at the underwhelming one in concourse C for example. 😴 But even with the best American Airlines has to offer in the capital of the English speaking superpower, I am far from being impressed.

Soho Lounge at JFK – What is so First Class About it?

British Airways has joined their forces with American Airlines to bring a First Class lounge to oneworld Emerald status holders in New York JFK airport terminal 8. The terminal is a home for many oneworld airlines, so First Class passengers on all oneworld airlines can access this lounge. However, American Airlines and British Airways First Class passengers will have access to the fancier Chelsea lounge instead of this one.

British Airways First Class lounge at terminal 5 London Heathrow – a balanced experience

I was a bit worried when I was browsing the oneworld lounge finder website. It seemed to me that British Airways wouldn’t have a First Class lounge for oneworld Emerald customers at all at LHR. Luckily, I was wrong as the British Airways Galleries South Lounge doubles as a First Class lounge as well. In this post I will describe my experience in detail.

Qantas First Class Lounge in Sydney was an underwhelming experience

Qantas is an important airline in the oneworld alliance because it connects Australia with the rest of the world. They are also known for charging ludicrous prices for their flights; domestic flights in Australia are far more expensive than international flights in Europe. Today I will be reviewing the Qantas First Class Lounge in Sydney and what it offers for travelers ready to put some serious dollars on their flights.

What is the easiest way to get Oneworld Sapphire – the definite answer

Oneworld Sapphire is the sweet spot for most frequent flyers because the status comes with all of the most important perks such as a free piece of luggage, priority boarding, lounge access, and even though not officially stated, most of the time priority security. However, there are so many different ways to reach this exclusive status that it is not clear which airline offers the easiest and fastest route to oneworld Sapphire. In this post, you will learn how to get oneworld Sapphire the easiest way possible.

This post is divided into two parts: status by the number of flights and status by points. If you fly frequently, but you fly short distances such as weekly domestic flights or weekly flights to a neighbouring country, you should definitely check out the first part on status by the number of flights. If, however, you fly long distances perhaps less frequently, take a look at the second part on getting oneworld Sapphire by points.
